CPD - Fiona Price

Fiona is responsible for keeping up to date and communicating all CPD developments and offering support to any APTUK member. She also commits to write a quarterly article on the back page of the Pharmacy Technician Journal and writes a regular feature in a publication called ‘The Business’.

Fiona has worked for Boots for 27 years, most of this time being in one of their flagship stores in Cardiff. She was one of the first Technicians to voluntarily register with the Society in 2005 and shortly after qualified as an ACT.
In 2007 Fiona was the first Technician to be elected to the Welsh Pharmacy Board and in July of that year was asked by the Department of Health to sit on PRLOG – a group set up to oversee the establishment of the GPhC.
She joined APTUK in 2007 and the following year was appointed as Employment Relations Officer .In 2009 she took on the new role of CPD officer. She is also Secretary for the Cardiff branch of APTUK.
Fiona is married with two children.
