Cath has represented APTUK on a number of working parties including National Patient Safety Agency, Design for Patient Safety project. Cath also regularly speaks to groups about issues such as registration and regulation. CPD facilitator and West Midlands branch officer. One of the organisers of 2007 APTUK national conference in Birmingham and the 2010 national conference in Cheshire.
Cath qualified as a Pharmacy Technician in 1975 in Liverpool. She has worked predominantly in hospital but with some experience in Community Pharmacy. Cath has also worked at Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust as Chief Pharmacy Technician – Education and Training until 2005 when she left the NHS to start her own company. Now works throughout the West Midlands and nationwide providing support staff training services to NHS Trusts and community Pharmacies.
