The Association of Pharmacy Technicians UK are pleased to announce the results of the recent election for president.
It was announced at the Annual General Meeting on 19th June 2010 at the recent conference held at Cranage Hall, Cheshire, that Steve Acres had been voted in as President.
Steve Acres said: “ I am delighted and humbled that the members have seen fit to place their trust in me. These are challenging but exciting times and I will do my utmost to steer APTUK towards growth and the delivery of excellent and sustainable professional leadership for our members. Pharmacy technicians are playing an increasingly important role in both the development and delivery of pharmacy services. The role of the APTUK is critical in to helping pharmacy technicians realize their potential as pharmacy professionals”.
