The Association of Pharmacy Technicians UK and AAH Pharmaceuticals Ltd are pleased to announce the winners of the Pharmacy Technicians of the Year Awards 2012.
The Primary Care Award has been given to Joanne Widdowson – Pharmacy Technician from Wicker Pharmacy and the Secondary Care Award to Sarah Goman & Susan Edwards – Senior Pharmacy Technicians from Velindre Cancer Centre.
The Professional Award was won by Nicola Slingo – Chief Pharmacy Technician from North Manchester General Hospital. A special commendation was given to Hayley File – Clinical Pharmacy Technician from Beneden Hospital Trust. The winners will be presented their awards at APTUK’s Diamond Annual Conference which is being held at the Hilton Hotel NEC Birmingham 29th-30th September.
The Awards were established in 1997 to promote the important role of the Pharmacy Technician in developing and improving pharmacy services and to encourage forward thinking and innovation.
