The Pharmacy Technician of the Year Primary Care Award for 2009 has been won by, Donna Bartlett, Development and Improvement Project Lead Technician, NHS Northwest Medicines Management Network, Preston, Lancashire for her submission “Delivering injectable training on swine flu vaccinations to non-registered staff.”
The Pharmacy Technician of the Year Professional Award introduced last year to recognise a pharmacy technician who has made an outstanding contribution to the profession has been won by Karen Pawelcyzk, Senior Technician for Vaccine Supplies, Pharmacy Distribution Centre, Govan, Glasgow.
The winners of the Primary Care Award will present her work at the APTUK national conference in June at Cranage Hall, Cheshire and both winners will be recognised at the conference dinner.
