Manchester Branch of the Association of Pharmacy Technicians is a friendly, well established group who have been meeting on a regular basis since 2005.
We meet four times a year (February, May, July and October) usually on a Wednesday evening, at The Sycamore Inn, Ashton-Under-Lyne (click here to view location on Google maps).
All our meetings open from 6pm with a buffet, networking and the opportunity to speak to a trained CPD Facilitator; this allows time for those working late or travelling some distance to arrive. The Guest Speaker begins at 7pm.
We have technicians from all sectors of pharmacy including hospital, community and PCT and approximately 30-40 people attend each event. We are open to all technicians / dispensers including non APTUK members.
We are currently actively seeking new committee members to help with the running of the branch as we have grown in numbers beyond our expectations!
