European Society of Clinical Pharmacy

From 31 October-2 November 2023, the ESCP symposium will be in Aberdeen. The symposium theme is ‘Innovation in Clinical Pharmacy Practice, Education and Research’.

The European Society of Clinical Pharmacy (ESCP) is coming to the UK.

From 31 October-2 November 2023, the ESCP symposium will be in Aberdeen. The symposium theme is ‘Innovation in Clinical Pharmacy Practice, Education and Research’ and will host 500-600 pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, academics, students, researchers and more!

This will provide an opportunity to showcase leading edge practice, education and research. The program includes many keynote presentations from internationally renowned speakers, interactive workshops, oral and poster research presentations, networking opportunities, and much more.

ESCP is a global society and welcomes all members of the pharmacy team in all settings. The programme has been designed to be suitable for participants at all levels of clinical pharmacy expertise.

Workshop proposals

The closing date for workshop proposal submissions for the symposium is 14 March 2023. Notifications of outcome will be sent by 3 May 2023.

Workshops are an important part of the ESCP symposium programme and are usually run twice during the event. This year, there will be a maximum of 12 different workshops and each workshop will last for 120 minutes. 

These should be related to clinical pharmacy practice, education or research and must have an approach that promotes interaction with participants.  Preference will be given to workshops linked to the conference theme.

Oral Communication and Poster presentations

The symposium provides an opportunity for you to present your scientific work (as oral communication or as a poster). All presented abstracts are published in the International Journal of Clinical Pharmacy.

Submission is open from 1 March 2023 onwards. The deadline for abstract submission is 17 May 2023.
