Pharmacy Technician Journal

About the Journal

The "Pharmacy Technician Journal (PTJ)" is the publication produced by APTUK.  The PTJ has evolved from a news sheet in 1952 to the Journal you receive today. The journal exists to provide Pharmacy Technicians with regular updates from the Department of Health, GPhC and other governing bodies, information about strategic changes and developments to the profession. The emphasis of PTJ articles is also on providing examples of good pharmacy practice that will be of benefit in developing the pharmacy technician profession’s contribution to improving services to patients.

A physical copy of the Journal is circulated to members of APTUK as well as being available in an electronic format (compatible with mobile devices) within the members area of the website.

Pre-registration trainee pharmacy technician members of APTUK receive an electronic copy.
