Association of Pharmacy
Technicians UK (APTUK)
The Professional Leadership Body for Pharmacy Technicians

Aberdeen

Welcome the APTUK Aberdeen page!

Our branch covers the North East of Scotland including Moray, Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen city. We welcome all pharmacy technicians and trainees (whether you are a member of APTUK or not) to our branch meetings which move around the region.

The Aberdeen branch formed in 2017 and has a wide range of attendees from trainees to very experienced technicians.

Branch meetings are free to attend and are an opportunity to learn and network with like minded pharmacy technicians from all sectors. Attendees come from various work settings: community pharmacy, hospital and specialist services, you are never sure who you may meet and what you may learn. Meetings are usually informal sessions where there is a chance to meet and chat before a learning topic is discussed. We have had invited presenters to share their experiences on a specialist topic e.g. inhaler technique training.

Events are advertised on our face book page APTUK Aberdeen, and by email. To be added to the mailing list contact aptuk.aberdeen@gmail.com
