UK's 5 Year National Action Plan and 20 Year Vision for Anti Microbial Resistance Published! 

 

Today the Department of Health and Social Care has published a 20 year Vision for Antimicrobial Resistance, describing how the UK will contribute to containing and controlling antimicrobial resistance (AMR) by 2024.  The guidance can be found here.

 

The guidance is supported by The UK's 5 Year National Action Plan to tackle antimicrobial resistance here.

 

Pharmacy Technicians have an important role to ensure the optimal use and stewardship of antimicrobials in all sectors and these documents provide lots of useful information and good practice for Pharmacy Teams
