In Branches
Welcome to the APTUK branches pages!
APTUK offers all members exclusive access to their branch network throughout the UK. This provides a unique opportunity to meet other APTUK members, working in a variety of settings, to build professional relationships and enhance professional development together. Additionally, APTUK branches offer updates on relevant national and strategic issues impacting on the profession, whilst sharing exciting opportunities both locally and nationally.
There are a variety of branches. Some are arranged by region and others focus on speciality topics such as technical, aseptic services and are managed by a committee of pharmacy technician volunteers, who dedicate their time to APTUK members and the profession.
As a branch member, you have exclusive access to meetings, presentations, and webinars on relevant topics delivered virtually via Teams or Zoom. Providing professional information that is interesting, novel, and often boundary defying. Pharmacy technicians are encouraged to share their experience, expertise, and knowledge in an open, friendly, welcoming space. Branch social events are also hosted, supporting wellbeing and networking.
By joining a branch or attending a meeting you have the opportunity to share your views and contribute your experience to a range of national healthcare consultations and campaigns. All this vital work helps to shape the future for pharmacy technicians, patients, and the public alike.
Please join your regional or speciality branch by contacting them directly or alternatively contact branchliaison@aptuk.org who will direct you to your local meeting.
