Following on from previous successes, the APTUK Annual Professional Conference and Exhibition will be held over two days, 18th - 19th September 2026 at the Renaissance Hotel, Heathrow, London.
We aim to bring you an event which has been tailored to fulfil your needs, using delegate feedback to ensure you have a rewarding and valuable experience.

Abstract Submissions
We are now inviting pharmacy technicians to share research abstract submissions for consideration as either a short oral presentation or a poster presentation. In 2025 we were excited to share 43 posters and 4 oral presentations and we encourage you to become involved this year.
If the thought of putting together a poster or an abstract or even an oral presentation sounds daunting, we at APTUK want to help make this process as easy and as enjoyable for you as possible, so we will be providing workshop webinars to APTUK members to help you through the process and to encourage as many of you as possible to showcase your work. More information will follow on this soon.
There are four categories to choose from for your abstract:
- Clinical practice
- Leadership
- Education
- Research

Educational Bursary
APTUK are delighted to be able to offer a limited number of educational bursaries, where APTUK pharmacy technician or PTPT members will be awarded:
- A ticket to the full conference and exhibition for both Friday 18th and Saturday 19th September 2026
- A place at the awards dinner
- One night’s accommodation at the Renaissance Hotel, London, Heathrow
- Travel expenses up to the value of £100*

APTUK 2026 Pharmacy Technician Awards
The APTUK Annual Pharmacy Technician Awards celebrate and acknowledge successful individuals, teams and projects within the pharmacy technician profession. We are now inviting nominations and are delighted to be able to recognise all sectors of pharmacy practice and individual excellence through these awards.
Prizes include an engraved trophy and an educational bursary towards attendance at APTUK Annual Conference 2027. All awards are open to members and non-members of APTUK.
