PTJ Editorial team
Come and be part of the team delivering an educational and informative journal for the pharmacy technician profession. We are looking for a new Editor and Editorial Assistants to provide APTUK members with an authoritative and informative source of information from their professional leadership body.
PTJ Editor
- Lead the editorial team in developing and publishing the Pharmacy Technicians Journal (PTJ)
- Be part of the APTUK Executive Committee
- Opportunity to create an informative, inspiring and relevant journal which is produced by Pharmacy Technicians, for Pharmacy Technicians.

Editorial Assistants
- Part of the APTUK editorial production team
- Research items of interest and relevance to pharmacy technicians
- Opportunity to publish regular and topical articles

You will have the chance to work with a wide range of stakeholders to benefit members and the pharmacy technician profession, raise your own profile within the pharmacy network and receive sponsorship for the annual APTUK conference.

Do you have expertise in pharmacy technician education?
We are recruiting Education Panel Members and an Education Advisor to provide expert advice and support the implementation of an education strategy that reflects the requirements of the pharmacy technician profession.
These are paid posts, working closely with the APTUK Education Director.
Education Panel Members
- Part of an expert panel
- Review and evaluate provider submissions for APTUK National Competency Frameworks
- Paid position (ad-hoc basis approx. 2 hours per submission)

Education Advisor
- Act as APTUK ambassador for pharmacy technician education and training
- Represent APTUK at relevant meetings across the UK
- Strategic working with the Education Director
- Paid position (approx. 4 hours per week)
