The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and the Office of the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer (CPhO Office) at NHS England will be co-hosting a new pharmacy technician fellowship.
The post offers a one-year secondment or fixed term opportunity for an experienced pharmacy technician to work across the GPhC and CPhO Office, supporting key projects and enabling the further development of pharmacy technician professional practice. The fellow will provide professional leadership and advice relating to where pharmacy technicians can add value to national healthcare priorities.
Applications are welcome from pharmacy technicians working in any healthcare sector, who can demonstrate the appropriate skills, knowledge and professional attributes. The fellowship post will be an 8a or equivalent, we welcome applications from all bands and sectors of practice as we recognise that agenda for change banding is not applicable to all potential applicants and should not be a barrier for the right applicant.
