UK Commission on Pharmacy Professional Leadership: Working Group Member Expression of Interest

UK Commission on Pharmacy Professional Leadership: Working Group Member Expression of Interest

The Association of Pharmacy Technicians (APTUK) are inviting frontline pharmacy technicians to take part in working groups for the UK Commission on Pharmacy Professional Leadership. The Commission was established by the four UK Chief Pharmaceutical Officers and will produce recommendations for the purpose and functions of future pharmacy professional leadership in the UK.

The inclusive UK-wide conversation will seek to learn and determine how pharmacy professional leadership can be strengthened to support practising professionals, professional regulation and pharmacy professional representation to enable excellence in patient care.

With significant changes impacting on the pharmacy professions, we need to ensure the professions are well equipped with a voice to help shape the future, and enabled to develop through sharing and learning from best practice.

We are looking for individuals with expertise, knowledge, and current frontline experience in inclusive pharmacy professional leadership to take part in the Commission’s working groups. These roles are open to pharmacy technicians and pharmacists across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

If you are interested in applying to be part of the working groups, please click on the link below to download the Expression of Interest form and send your completed application to Jo Coleman - email: england.cpho-office@nhs.net

The closing date for expressions of interest is 5pm on Friday 5 August 2022.

Please do cascade and share this information with pharmacy professionals.
