APTUK are sharing this paper as it continues to support the need for pharmacy technicians to be listed as healthcare professional able to administer and supply medicines and medicinal products on the PGD list. This is to enable effective skill mix and support better patient health outcomes particularly as services are reviewed post the pandemic. The paper provides case study examples and sets out the case for change and has been made available as a resource tool to champion the much-needed legislative changes.
