#pharmacy24 is back for 2021!

#pharmacy24 is an international Twitter event to celebrate the breadth and diversity of pharmacy which is usually held on the busiest day of the pharmacy calendar prior to the Easter Bank holidays.  This year the event will be held on Wednesday 7th April.

The event is open to everyone in the pharmacy team to get involved and we would especially like to encourage Pharmacy Technician involvement.

Following a very challenging year for the profession, this years theme is the role of pharmacy in the COVID19 pandemic and diversity within the profession.

APTUK will be focusing our celebrations on the exceptional efforts of Pharmacy Technicians in response to the pandemic and the oppotunities that this presents for utilisation of the expertise, skills and knowledge of the Pharmacy Technicians going forward.

We encourage you, your colleagues and teams to get involved too!  What a great way to showcase the fantastic work you do!

We want the reach of #Pharmacy24 to be even greater than previous years! To do this, we want to work together with everyone to get behind this social media event.

We want you to:

• Share the date with your networks and on all your social media platforms (e.g. Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.)

• Let us know how you and your teams are getting involved - email us before the 5th April 2021 media@aptuk.org and we will follow your celebrations and re-tweet
