The Professional Leadership Body for Pharmacy Technicians

Primary Care, Health & Justice Service, Armed Forces and Industry Pharmacy Technician

Pharmacy Technicians working in the Health & Justice Service and the Armed Forces perform similar roles to pharmacy technicians working in community pharmacies. They would be involved in supplying medicines to patients within a medicines management role. However, the environment in which they do it and the patients can be very different. Pharmacy technicians working in primary care are most often involved in prescribing audits within GP Practices.
